When needing a new level of reliability, speed and distance in

MiniHAB™ products. These Dual Channel, 2 Gbit PCI-to-Fibre Channel host
adapters are designed in a Low Profile PCI form factor making them
the right choice for 1U and 2U rackmount and standard servers, while
providing the performance needed for enterprise applications. These adapters
save valuable PCI slots and offer increased connectivity by providing two
independent fibre channels on one host adapter for clustered or SAN
environments.
• Multi-mode optics and
copper options
The LSI44929 MiniHAB adapters host the LSIFC929, PCI-to-Dual
Channel Fibre Channel controller. The LSIFC929 connects directly to a
64-bit/66 MHz PCI bus presenting one electrical load. The host PCI
interface is PCI 2.2 compliant and is backwards compatible with 32-bit
and 33 MHz buses.

Based on industry standard ARM technology, the LSI Logic 2 Gbit product family incorporates Fusion-MPT architecture, a single binary device driver
for Fibre Channel, SCSI and emerging interface technologies such as
InfiniBand, Serial ATA and others. Thinner drivers allow for better and more
versatile performance while adding value at the firmware level. Fusion-MPT
provides the flexibility and rich feature set to make options like Integrated
Mirroring possible for boot volume protection at no additional cost.
