AS1538 Product Brief 8 - C h a n n e l , 1 2 - B i t I ² C A n a l o g - t o - D i g i ta l C o n v e r t e r 1 General Description 2 Key Features The AS1538 is a single-supply, low-power, 12-bit data acquisition device that features a serial I²C interface and an 8-channel multiplexer. The analog-to-digital (A/D) converter features a sampleand-hold amplifier an internal asynchronous clock and an internal reference. 2 The combination of an I C serial, 2-wire interface and micropower consumption makes the AS1538 ideal for applications requiring the A/D converter to be close to the input source in remote locations and for applications requiring isolation.
