Preparation for Use:
• Unpack the thermometer with care.
• Open the battery compartment and install the battery.
• Remove the protective cap.

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the thermometer ON.
Press the °C/°F button to select the temperature units.
Adjust the LCD for the desired viewing angle.
Insert the probe at least 0.4” (10mm) into the object to be measured.
Read the temperature on the LCD display
Notes:
• Only the stainless steel probe can be exposed to temperatures above 122°F (50°C) or below 14°F
(-10°C). The plastic housing and/or electronics will be destroyed above or below these
temperatures
• Remove the battery when storing the thermometer for long periods of time.
• The thermometer cannot be used in a microwave oven.
