CONTROLLER AND FREQUENCY SYNTHESIZER

This device is functionally identical to the mPD1723. This integrated circuit is a CMOS LSI
circuit developed for use in FM,MW,LW receivers. It is manufactured in 64-lead PQFP
(Plastic Quad Flat Package). In-chip controller, Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) Frequency Syn
the sizes, watch, up to 200MHz frequency display scale, intermediate frequency counter ,
analog-to-digital converter (ADC), liquid-crystal display (LCD) driver all reduce sizes of high
quality FM, MW,LW receivers, used in cars of high class.

•Device allows to select modes: manual tuning (search, scanning), station holding and by memory scanning.
•By means of 6 button it is possible to store 18 stations in FM band (6 stations in each FM1, FM2, FM3) 12
stations in MW band (6 stations in each MW1, MW2), 6 stations in LW and also VF band.
•IC has LAST CHANEL MEMORI function (memory of last channel): FM-3, MW-2, LW-1, VF-1.
•Opportunity to implement automatic search of VF station (movement information and so on).
•Automatic station storing function.
•Device implements holding of stations recorded in memory while receiver is turned-off.
•Indication and control of MONO, LOC (search mode), stereo ST, tape type indication (MTL).
•CD indication.
•LOUD indication and control.
•Watch function (12 hours and 24 hours modes) with turn-off watch opportunity.
