Introducing TE Connectivity (TE) Solderless LED Socket, Type BR The TE Solderless LED Socket, Type BR is a quick termination connector system for use with the Bridgelux RS LED. The one piece connector assembly features the TE poke-in wire termination to wire types ranging from 18 – 22 AWG wire. Termination to the Bridgelux RS LED is simplified with locating features that properly position the LED into the socket prior to mounting the full assembly onto the heat sink with four screws. To further enhance integration capabilities, the socket is designed to accept the commercially available LEDIL Britney Series Optics. Alternatively, ample space is available to allow for the use of other custom optical solutions.
