Velociti® Series B200SR-LF Description • Low Frequency Intelligent Sounder Base The Gamewell-FCI, B200SR-LF sounder base sets a new standard for performance, installation and aesthetics. The B200SR-LF low frequency sounder base is designed to comply with the NFPA 72 sleeping space requirement to produce a fundamental frequency of 520 Hz +/- 10% with a square wave or its equivalent. Studies show that a lower frequency, centered around 520 Hz, is the ideal frequency to awaken sleeping occupants, even those occupants with mild to severe hearing loss. In addition, it offers maximum flexibility in installation, configuration and operation to comply or exceed the UL Standards 268 and 464 requirements. The B200SR sounder base is compatible with the B501BH Series sounder base installations. By removing the jumper, the device enables users to select one of two B501-supported tones (ANSI Temporal 3 or Continuous). • • Installation The sounder base offers the following installation features: • Pre-wired mounting plate that fits various junction box sizes. • The housing locks to a mounting plate with two retaining screws to prevent tamper resistance.
