Features and Benefits
High Accuracy and Linearity over Wide Temperature Range
The voltage output for the XL403A is directly proportional to the acceleration
along the axis. Each DC-coupled output is fully scaled, referenced, and
temperature compensated. Accuracy is improved by minimizing variations
due to temperature and aging effects, resulting in sensors that are more
stable over temperature than piezoelectric or piezoresistive devices.
Calibration Certificate
Each XL403A is supplied with a calibration certificate listing sensitivity and
offset, as well as the on-axis and transverse alignment parameters needed
to ensure rapid and efficient system implementation. The alignment data can
be used to compensate the measured values if needed.
Self-Test on Digital Command
A TTL-compatible self-test input causes a simulated acceleration to be
injected into the accelerometer to verify channel integrity.
Small Size
Complete conditioned uniaxial, biaxial, or triaxial accelerometer in less than
a cubic inch.
 uilt-In Power Supply Regulation
B
Unregulated DC power from +8.5 to +36 Volts is all that is required to measure
acceleration and temperature. Reverse power voltages of up to -80 V can
be withstood indefinitely. Transients of +80 V for 550 ms compatible with
MIL-STD-704A can be withstood with full operation.
Easy Installation
Integrated cable with 9-pin connector makes it easy to wire. Two throughholes and four tapped holes simplify mounting.
 uitable for Harsh Environments
S
The XL403A is robust and can be used in harsh environments. The unit will
survive 5000 g powered or unpowered.
Earth Friendly Design
Lead-free design makes the XL403A environmentally safe while
Measurement Specialties’ assembly process ensures reliable functionality.
Fully potted electronics eliminates the possibility of tin whiskers-related
failures.

Features and Benefits
Precision
The Measurement Specialties 34201A Triaxial Accelerometer offers precision
measurements over the entire -40 to +85°C temperature range with superior
bias stability and approximately 100 µg measurement resolution.
High Accuracy and Linearity over Wide Temperature Range
The voltage output for each axis of the 34201A is directly proportional to the
acceleration along that axis. Each DC-coupled output is fully scaled,

Real -World Accelerations
The Measurement Specialties 34201A
accelerometer has each mutually
orthogonal axis precisely aligned,
typically within ±0.15 degree of
the theoretical ideal. This provides
the accuracy required by most
measurement applications without any
compensation. Critical applications
requiring higher accuracy can use the
alignment data provided on the optional
calibration certificate to compensate for
any small residual error.

Rugged for Harsh Environments
The 13203CC is robust to perform well in harsh environments. The 6061-T6
case with electroless nickel finish plus a Teflon cable with a shield bonded to
the case provide improved resistance to EMI, lightning, or other disturbances.
The enclosure is rated IP65. The unit has resilient power and will survive
5000 g powered and unpowered. The 13203CC has a 22 AWG cable with
only four wires to connect.
High Accuracy and Linearity over Wide Temperature Range
The output of the 13203CC is directly proportional to the acceleration of its
axis. The DC-coupled output is fully scaled, referenced, and temperature
compensated. When used in demanding temperature environments, the
13203CC is one of the most accurate accelerometers available.

The Measurement Specialties 13200C
and 23200C accelerometers include a
temperature sensor in their small, rugged
package. The small size and built-in
power regulation allow the 13200C and
23200C to fit where other accelerometers
can’t. Choose the bandwidth and range
options best suited for your application
to measure ±10 g, ±15 g, ±20 g, ±25 g,
±30 g, ±35 g, ±40 g, ±50 g, or ±70 g
accelerations on one or two axes.
The high repeatability of the builtin temperature sensor allows precise
compensation of temperature effects.
Alignment data provided on the included
calibration certificate can be used to
manually correct transverse sensitivity
and alignment errors, or when extra
precision is required, Option C002,
offset compensation is available.
Tested over the -40 to +85°C temperature
range, the accelerometers have a nominal
full scale output swing of ±2 Volts. The
zero g output level is nominally +2.5
Volts. Precise values are available on the
included calibration certificate. Custom
versions of the 13200C and 23200C
can be provided for applications which
require different range and/or bandwidth.

Features and Benefits
High Accuracy and Linearity over Wide Temperature Range
The Voltage output for each axis of the 13207A and 23207A is directly
proportional to the acceleration along that axis. Each DC-coupled output is
fully scaled, referenced, and temperature compensated. Accuracy is
improved by minimizing variations due to temperature and aging effects,
resulting in a sensor that is more stable over temperature than piezoelectric
or piezoresistive devices.
Calibration Certificate
Each 13207A and 23207A is supplied with a calibration certificate listing
sensitivity and offset, as well as the on-axis and transverse alignment
parameters needed to ensure rapid and efficient system implementation.
The alignment data can be used to compensate the measured values to
achieve an even higher level of sensor accuracy.
Self-Test on Digital Command
A TTL-compatible self-test low input causes a simulated acceleration to be
injected into the sensor(s) to verify channel integrity.
Small Size
Complete conditioned uniaxial or biaxial accelerometer in less than a cubic
inch.
 uilt-In Power Supply Regulation
Built-in terminal block or cable with 9-pin connector makes it easy to wire.
Two through-holes and four tapped holes simplify mounting.
Suitable for Harsh Environments
The 13207A and 23207A are robust and can be used in harsh environments.
The units will survive 4000 g powered or unpowered.

Low Mass Aluminum
The 35172A is fabricated from 6061-T6 aluminum to reduce mass while
providing optimal rigidity.
Convenience
The 35172A mounting adapter simplifies accelerometer mounting when the
system to be measured can be accessed from only one side, and a vertical

The 35172A mounting adapter makes
it easy to mount a Measurement
Specialties digital or non-cubical
analog accelerometer when it is not
convenient to use the accelerometer’s
integral mount. Four 3.0 x 6 mm
socket flat head screws are included to
attach a digital sensor to the adapter
(two for analog). The adapter with
accelerometer can then be mounted to
the object under test using M3, M3.5,
or #6 screws.
To prevent screws from loosening due
to vibrations, a locking compound is
recommended for all threads.

Precision Machined
Faces of mounting plate are machined parallel to minimize errors.
Low Mass Aluminum
The 35173A is fabricated from 6061-T6 aluminum to reduce mass while
providing optimal rigidity.
Convenience
The 35173A mounting adapter simplifies accelerometer mounting when the
system to be measured can be accessed from only one side, and a horizontal
mounting is desired. When access from both sides is possible, the 35173A
can be used as an alternate to the accelerometer’s integral mount.
