With a variety of connector options to service the industrial and transportation markets, Trident is available in low-cost rectangular, rack & panel and circular configurations supporting industrial, shielded and harsh environment requirements. The interchangeable contact system includes size 16 (1.6 mm pin diameter) machined as well as stamped and formed contacts. The stamped and formed contacts have three retention latches and an optimized body shape for an excellent contact alignment leading to secure connector mating. The innovative use of Trident contacts minimizes the need for tooling and provides a lower total cost of ownership due to faster assembly and disassembly while eliminating the need to invest in insertion tools. The versatile product range offers rectangular and circular connectors from low cost corrosion resistant plastic to high performance shielded metal solutions. The circular product range is available up to IP67 including signal, power and mixed layouts. The interchangeability of contacts in a large variety of designs enables commonality throughout the Trident range. The rubber grommet enables IP 67 sealing and low total cost of ownership through an easy assembly and no need for additional parts. High voltage connectors 4 Trident connectors can be used up to 250 V AC. The new VDE-certified high voltage series enables safe power transmission with up to 500 V AC.
