KEMET will be pushing customers to move to the MIL-PRF-49470 part
number.
If 87106 pn required KEMET will mark and ship product accordingly.
Per obsoleted DSCC Drawing 87106 4.2.2 customer may accept a CofC in
lieu of performing Group B. This will be KEMET’s preferred method of
shipment. We must receive customer written approval in order to ship in
this manner.

Termination Type (Description)
Guarded, solder coated. A guarded
termination is one in which the
interelectrode metallization is
separated from the final finish by a
barrier or guard metal; e.g., copper or
nickel, etc.
Base metallization-barrie-solder
plated (tin/lead alloy with a minimum
of 4 percent lead). Nonleaded
terminations W and Y are no longer
available. Termination Z is a direct
replacement.
Solder coated fnial with a minimum of
4 percent lead.
Base metallization-barrier metalsolder coated (tin/lead alloy, with a
minimum 4 percent lead). Solder will
have a melting point of +200°C or
less. Solder coat thickness will be a
minimum of 60 micro-inches.
