Engineering Conditions of Acceptability
For use only in or with complete equipment where the acceptability of the combination is determined by
Underwriters Laboratories Inc. When installed in an end-product, consideration must be given to the
following:
ƒ
The end-product Electric Strength Test is to be based upon a maximum working voltage of: InputOutput: 185 Vrms, 264 Vpk
ƒ
The following secondary output circuits are SELV: Output of all models
ƒ
The following secondary output circuits are at non-hazardous energy levels: Output of all models
ƒ
The following output terminals were referenced to earth during performance testing: -VO or COM
ƒ
The power supply terminals and/or connectors are: Suitable for factory wiring only
ƒ
The investigated Pollution Degree is: 2
ƒ
The following end-product enclosures are required: Fire, Electrical, Mechanical
ƒ
Abnormal/Component Failure Tests were conducted with an external fuse (250Vac/6.3A maximum).
Repeated tests in the end-use application shall be considered while installing different rated
protective devices.
ƒ
DC/DC converter is providing functional isolation from Hazardous voltage secondary circuit to SELV.
Per Clause 2.2.4, the DC/DC converter has been subjected to Electric Strength test for Basic
Insulation in accordance with 5.2.2, and single component fault testing in accordance with 2.2.4. End
Product shall provide the insulation between Input and output if necessary.

The Unit is considered as functional insulation and intended to be installed in isolated secondary
circuit which is separated from primary circuit by Reinforce or Double insulation; additional tests of
Humidity Test should be considered in the end product.

The unit is considered no tolerance about input Rating.

If the unit use in restricted access location, shall be considered in End-Product evaluation again.
