PCI 9000 Series of I/O Accelerators
PLX Technology’s PCI 9000 Series offers the most advanced, broadest range of
general-purpose, PCI-to-local bus bridges available.
PLX Technology offers two types of I/O Accelerators:
Targets and Masters. PCI Target I/O Accelerators support
Direct Slave operations, allowing PCI bus master
devices to access memory and other slave devices on a
local bus. These 32-bit, 33MHz products include the
PCI 9052 and PCI 9030. The PLX PCI Bus Master I/O
Accelerators support Direct Slave operation, plus they
add support for Direct Master operation, allowing
processor/local bus master devices to access memory
