APPLICATION NOTE Tape and Reel Guidelines for Isolators and Circulators Introduction Mechanical Specifications This application note defines the standards to which Skyworks complies in relation to the tape and reel dimensions of isolators and circulators. Skyworks carrier tapes shall meet the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC 60286-3. Figure 1 shows the tape dimensions and direction of unreeling. Figure 2 shows the orientation of the isolators and circulators in the tape. Table 1 lists the tape dimensions for each of the packages. Table 2 shows the packing quantities and leader/trailer information for each of the packages. The adhesion strength of the carrier tape is between 50 and 100 grams. The Carrier Reel consists of ESD-safe material with surface resistivity of 108 to 1011 Ohms/sq.
