Description:
With all of its major components being of Teledyne manufacture, the
Compact Outdoor TWTA (Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier) delivers the
superior performance, quality, and cost-efficiencies one would expect
from any complex product manufactured with complete supply chain
control.
With the power of a 500W Peak TWT, this unit has the ability to deliver
175 watts of linear power. It is available in two frequency ranges: 27.0 –
30 GHz or 30 – 31 GHz for both military and commercial applications.
The Compact Outdoor TWTA shares the same architectural platform with
the highly-successful Compact Outdoor SSPA (Solid State Power
Amplifier) that consists of a highly-efficient cooling system and clean,
modular construction. All of the internal components are easily accessible
and the cooling system can be maintained without the need to remove the
cover of the amplifier, resulting in the lowest MTTR in the industry.
Options include an internal L-band to Ka-band block up-converter (BUC)
with onboard local oscillator and a high performance filter for harmonic
rejection of -60 dBc.
