The plating is Matte Tin. Standard SnPb plated products are not suggested for new design. New products will only be released with lead free plating. Lead free finished products are compatible with most lead free soldering alloys including such combinations as SnAg, SnCu and SnAgCu. The lead free finish remains backward compatible with lead containing soldering alloys. Reflow begins at a preheat of 150°C to 200°C for 60 to 180 sec. and up to peak reflow temperature of 260°C at ramp-up rate 3°C/sec. All products will withstand within 5°C of peak reflow temperature of 260°C for 20 to 40 sec. A detailed reflow profile according to JEDEC J-STD-020C is shown below.
