Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
The CRM Series remote magnetometers employ an RS-422 serial
digital data bus with a Baud rate of
38,400. They are configured to
operate in an auto send mode so
that data is automatically and
continuously sent after power up.
Output data is transferred in a
compact binary format and includes
three axes of magnetic field along
with built-in-test status.
The CRM Series remote magnetometers are high performance
three-axis strap down magnetic
field measurement systems. They
are designed as a local magnetic
field reference for use with high
performance Attitude & Heading
Reference Systems such as the
AHRS500GA/AHRS510GA.

The CRM Series remote magnetometers are easy to install and
include micro-machined accelerometers to allow for automated
alignment with the AHRS500GA/
AHRS510GA during installation.
The CRM500/510 remote magnetometers come with a User’s
Manual and Installation Manual
offering helpful hints on programming, installation, and product
information. Crossbow’s MagAlign
software is also included to assist
users with Hard and Soft Iron
magnetometer alignment.
