Since many years, Diotec is very successful in supplying replacement parts for SOD87 devices, they come in MiniMelf/DO213AA package. Enclosed is a list with the closest matching types in MiniMelf, together with possible alternatives in differing case outlines. In case this characteristic is important for the given application, Diotec has to be contacted before usage. 1 2 ) The MiniMelf package has got the same length, but smaller diameter (1.6 instead of 2.0 mm). It fits onto the same pad layout as SOD87! 2 3 3 ) To compare the total power dissipation, it is best if parameter RthA - device mounted on PCB - is considered. For the Diotec types in MiniMelf it is 75 K/W and therefore more than comparable to Philips with Rth j-a = 150..175 K/W. The Philips power ratings (e. g.) of „2.0A“ or „2.3W“ are related to the terminal temperature Ttp! Related to the ambient temperature TA (see also Diotec datasheets), much smaller (=comparable) values are valid! ) Einige Philips-Typen sind im Gegensatz zu den DiotecBauteilen als „controlled avalanche rectifier“ spezifiziert. Sollte diese Eigenschaft für die entsprechende Anwendung wichtig sein, so ist vor Einsatz mit Diotec Rücksprache zu halten. ) Das MiniMelf Gehäuse ist gleichlang wie das SOD87, hat aber einen kleineren Durchmesser (1,6 statt 2,0 mm). Es passt auf das gleiche Pad-Layout wie SOD87! ) Zum Vergleich der zulässigen Verlustleistung zieht man am besten den Parameter RthA bei Montage auf Leiterplatte in Betracht. Dieser beträgt bei den Diotec-Typen in MiniMelf 75 K/W und ist damit mehr als vergleichbar mit den Philips-Typen mit Rth j-a = 150..175 K/W. Die Leistungsangaben (z. B.) „2,0A“ bzw. „2,3W“ beziehen sich bei Philips auf die Anschlusstemperatur Ttp! Bezogen auf die Umgebungstemperatur TA (vgl.
