1 OVERVIEW
NF1010 is a highly integrated Bluetooth module. NF1010 is the most demanded design for Healthcare,
Sports and fitness, Home entertainment. NF1010 design with CSR1010 BT v4.0 /BLE solutions to provide
Dual mode for Bluetooth. NF1010 module is a product from the CSR uEnergy platform. CSR uEnergy
enables ultra low-power connectivity and basic data transfer for applications previously limited by power
consumption, size constraints and complexity of the other wireless standards.
nFore is the industry leader for Bluetooth low energy Module. Bluetooth low energy enables the transfer of
simple data sets between compact devices opening up a completely new class of Bluetooth application such
as watched, TV remote controls, medical sensors and fitness trainers

Reset Interface
NF1010 the reset function is internally tied to the RESETB pin. NF1010 may be reset from several sources:
■ Power-on reset
■ Via a software-configured watchdog timer

2.4.2 UART Interface
This is a standard UART interface for communicating with other serial devices.
NF1010 UART interface provides a simple mechanism for communicating with other serial devices using
the RS-232 protocol.
2 signals implement the UART function, UART_TX and UART_RX. When NF1010 is connected to another
digital device, UART_RX and UART_TX transfer data between data the 2 devices.
UART configuration parameters, e.g. baud rate and data format, are set NF1010 firmware.
When selected in firmware PIO[0] is assigned to a UART_TX output and PIO[1] is assigned to a UART_RX
input, see Section 2.2.
The UART CTS and RTS signals can be assigned ti any PIO pin by nFore firmware.

3.2 RF Characteristic
NF1010 Module contains balun which provides a single-ended RF TX/RX port pin. No matching components are needed as the
receive mode impedance is 50 Ohm and the transmitter has been optimized to deliver power in to a 50 Ohm load.
The internal PA has maximum 7.5dBm output power without needing an external RF PA.

5 SMT and Baking Recommendation
5.1 Baking Recommendation
 Baking condition:
-Follow MSL Level 4 to do baking process.
-After bag is opened, devices that will be subjected to reflow solder or other high
temperature process must be
a) Mounted within 72 hours of factory conditions <30°C/60% RH, or
b) Stored at <10% RH.
-Devices require bake, before mounting, if Humidity Indicator Card reads >10%
If baking is required, Devices may be baked for 4 hrs at 100 °C.
