HVE-6501R HDMI over IP PoE Transmitter/Receiver HVE-6501T H/W Version: 1 Product Overview The LevelOne HVE-650 Series is an innovative HDMI-over-IP Distribution Solution. Designed with transmitting units (HVE-6501T) and receiving units (HVE-6501R), it offers scalable digital signage distribution, supporting HDMI 1.3 with 1080p video resolution and simultaneous audio broadcast. The HVE-650 Series riches HDMI signal broadcasting connectivity options from small scaled home theatres, retail stores, up to large scaled public premises such as transportation hubs, leisure educational facilities, corporate premises and more. Powerful Distribution Capabilities The pioneering LevelOne HVE-650 system expands HD digital content reachability. Allowing multiple sources extend to more than 200 remote displays in LAN without limit by cascading managed switches. The solution is highly flexible that Point-to-Point or Point-to-Many topologies could be conveniently arranged. And to meet wider range of application requirement, Many-to-Many connection is also easily achievable and manageable through VLAN & IGMP v1/v2 with a managed network switch, where multiple video sources could be freely distributed to required monitors. With advanced broadcasting technology the bandwidth is not heavily loaded to the number of displaying units. PoE Connectivity, Centralization and Grouping The LevelOne HVE-650 Series offers options to be powered by PoE (with 802.3af standard) or external power supplying unit. With implementation of PoE web smart managed switch in the system, the receiving units could be powered on or off from control station. RS-232 over TCP/IP technology is incorporated with the HVE-650 solution, centralizing adjustments of HDMI display monitors settings. This enables the possibility of switching power, adjusting contrast and brightness of monitors remotely (this function is available depending on the of monitor model). Additionally, video sources could be distributed per preset display group via easily hardware adjustment of DIP switches. Or alternatively, software utility is available for distribution management.
