LED Traffic Signal Installation Instructions BEFORE YOU BEGIN - Read these instructions carefully and completely WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, INSTALL UNIT IN ENCLOSURE TESTED TO BE SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS ONLY CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, DISCONNECT ALL POWER BEFORE SERVICING Follow all National Electric Codes and local codes. 1. Remove power to Traffic Light Head and follow safe practices when working with line voltages 2. Open outer door to the Traffic Light Head 3. Remove existing reflector / socket assembly and disconnect its leads from the terminal block 4. Remove existing lens and gasket or older LED assembly from the door while retaining the mounting hardware for use in installation of the new LED Traffic Signal Module 5. Place new LED Traffic Signal Module with gasket into the outer door lens recess. 6. Check to insure the module is properly orientated with the TOP indication for the ball product or that the arrow is properly orientated for its intended use. 7. Reinstall previously removed mounting hardware to secure LED Traffic Signal Module to the door 8. Route and connect the power leads to the prober terminal block positions. 9. Restore power to the Traffic Light Head 10. Measure the on and off state voltage across the Traffic Light. If the voltage in the off state is higher than normal, investigate for possible cause (e.g. high impedance connection or floating ground) 11. Close and secure outer door to Traffic Light Head 12.
