a multi-channel, rack-mounted
device, ideally suited for network
closets, server rooms or anywhere
multiple network cables are
routed. With a choice of 8 to 48
protected channels, the Edco
RM-CAT6-POE Series easily fits
within 1U of rack space and is
approprate for most network
applications. The three-stage hybrid
technology provides protection on
all pins of the POE or POE+ channels.
Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) has become the preferred
method in which network equipment is installed and
used today. The ability to drive both data and power
through the same cable allows cameras and other
devices to be mounted in virtually any location. This
flexibility simplifies the wiring, but may lead to installations where the connected equipment is at risk.
Emerson Network Power offers an entire platform of
surge protective devices (SPDs), specifically designed to

FLANGE MOUNT (Three-Stage Hybrid)
The Edco CAT6-POE Series
are single or multi-channel,
flange-mounted devices, ideally
suited to directly protect network
or power sourcing equipment in
high exposure locations. These
products also provide three-stage
hybrid protection for 1 to 8 POE
or POE+ channels. The flange
mount design allows the Edco
CAT6-POE Series to be installed as
close as possible to the protected
equipment.

THERMO-PLASTIC DESIGN (Single-Stage) The Edco CAT6-5POE Series are
single channel silicon avalanche
diode (SAD) devices, ideally suited
to provide protection directly at
the connected PoE equipment.
The DIN rail mounting option allows
the Edco CAT6-5POE-FF-DIN to be
installed within control cabinets
feeding multiple devices.
