Thank you for purchasing the mobile projector from 3M. Now you can enjoy your favorite movies, TV
shows, videos, and photo slideshows from Apple devices in larger than life viewing – on walls, floors, and
even ceilings! This little projector can project images from computers, and laptops, with an additional
cable (sold separately).

Charge the battery by connecting the power adapter to the projector.
Turn the focus wheel to sharpen the image.
On your Apple ® Device, start a video or photo slideshow. Some Apple Devices require you to turn on “TV
out” in Videos>Settings before watching a video or slideshow on the projector.

Connect the power adapter to the
projector’s DC input.
Connect the other end of the power adapter
into the electrical outlet.

The status indicator is amber while the
battery is charging.

Allow three hours to charge the battery
completely while the projector is off. The
projector can operate while charging. If
the projector power is on, the battery will
take longer to charge. When charging is
complete, the status indicator will turn off.
NOTE: Refer to the operator’s guide on-line for
more information on the battery and charging it.
Note: The iPad 2 is able to output a mirror image of what is displayed on its screen. The 3M Computer
Cable (Consumer UPC: 05112563471) and the Apple ® VGA Adapter are necessary to project the mirror
image using the 3M projector. The 3M Computer Cable is sold separately by 3M and the Apple VGA
Adapter is sold separately by Apple, Inc

Troubleshooting Tip: If you see the 3M logo screen, your device is not sending video to the 3M projector.
Please refer to the User Guide for your Apple device and look for “Watching a Video”, “Slideshows” and
“TV out.”

The icons below will appear in the upper left hand corner of the image when the projector is turned on.
The projector is on, however a cable is not connected to the projector.
Connect to Apple® Device

Connect the video cable to the projector’s VGA-AV input.

Connect the other end of the video cable to your Apple Device.
Press and hold the power button.

Release the power button when the projector
begins to project an image and the status indicator
turns green.
