It supports 16 slots of DDR4 RDIMM and ECC memory up to 512 GB. NA850 can be fitted with up to 5 Ethernet modules, total support max. up to 42 PCIe Generation 3.0 GbE LAN ports. Two hot swappable 3.5” HDD bays with SATA or SAS interface is available, and two PCIe x16 standard expansion slots for optional network security cards. NA850 also support the Intel® Data Plane Development Kit (Intel® DPDK), a set of software libraries that can improve packet processing performance by up to ten times. It could achieve over 80 Mpps throughput on a single Intel® Xeon® processor and double that with a dual-processor configuration.
