Both the fascia and the keycaps are constructed from stainless steel and are tested to withstand impact similar to hammer blows. Keycaps are non-removable, and all keyswitches are designed with over-travel protection. The integrated, lipsealed trackball is made of a heavy-duty phenolic material designed specifically to resist attempted abuse it is IP65 and NEMA-4 rated with suitable enclosure making it resistant to water and dust. All keycaps are laser marked, rather than printed, resulting in long-term resistance against wear and weather.
