Raise positive holder tabs to allow charger to accept AA size NiMH batteries or lower tabs to accept AAA size NiMH batteries. 2. Plug the DC output plug of the adapter into the DC input jack of the charger. 3. Plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet and then the green LED should light. 4. Place 1 to 4 batteries into the battery compartment according to the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside each bay. Unplug the charger from the outlet and remove batteries. NOTE: Charger and batteries may be left plugged into outlet to maintain charge. NOTE: For best performance, charge the batteries between 59°F and 77°F (15°C and 25°C). If the area is to warm, the batteries will not be fully charged.
