CPI-Built RF Power Mudules
S-band Solid State Power Amplifiers produce high
power and are compact with proven GaN transistor
technology.
CPI’s Solid State Power Amplifiers are rock-solid,
highly-efficient and easy to maintain. The
VSS3608 Solid State Power Amplifiers are
designed for use in radar applications. Gallium
Nitride transistors are combined into 1.1 kW bricks
which are air cooled. The bricks can be power-combined using radial combiners and waveguide combiners for any power desired.
Optimized for Pulsed Radars
This amplifier utilizes GaN transistors to provide
high gain, high efficiency and excellent pulse
fidelity. The result is excellent AM/PM,
phase-noise and spectral regrowth performance.
The bricks can be operated at an RF duty cycle of
up to 20% for higher average power applications.
