1.5A Line Driver
DESCRIPTION
FEATURES




The PT4430 is a power line driver. The output stage is
designed to drive up to 1.5A peak current into an
isolation transformer or simple coil coupling to the
mains. Power supply is single-sided 6V to 12V. The
input stage contains an operational amplifier which can
be configured as a unity gain follow buffer or used to
provide the first stage of 4-pole low pass filter. In
addition, the PT4430 offer a current limit
programmable with a single resistor, R_Limit, together
with a current limit flag.

The device provides two independent thermal flags: a
thermal warning flag to let the user know the internal
junction temperature has reach the user thermal
warning threshold and a thermal shutdown flag
indicate the internal junction temperature has
