Vishay Siliconix® has introduced the SUP70040E and SUM70040E, two new 4 mΩ max, 100 V MOSFET
products in TO-220 and D2PAK packages. The two devices feature the latest 100 V ThunderFET® technology
to achieve an RDS-Qg figure-of-merit (FOM) of 243.2 mΩ-nC. This value is a 70% improvement over the best
device from the previous generation. The maximum junction temperature is 175 °C for both products. The
high-performance silicon and rugged packaging provide an industrial-grade, versatile solution covering a wide
range of power conversion needs.
