Higher thermal resilience and long service life Versatile in use, wide range, easy handling Confidence inspiring: the benefits of 4ArXS HSD® at a glance While conventional metal halide lamps begin to sweat, the new 4ArXS lamp keeps its cool even during really hot performances: thanks to innovative XS technology (eXtreme Seal), the maximum pinch temperature is increased from 350ºC to 450ºC. From architectural lighting, projected advertising and nightclub lighting, through TV shows to concerts, musicals and theatre: 4ArXS HSD® ensure the right special effects wherever you want them. The high luminous efficacy, tremendous colour stability throughout the life of the lamp and different colour temperatures – daylight and bluish-white “bright light” – offer the user outstanding cost-effectiveness and new and varied design opportunities. • Average service life of 2,000 to 6,000 hours • Outstanding luminous intensity and colour consistency throughout the life of the lamp • Low devitrification of the bulb wall, therefore lesser decline in system luminous flux over the life of the lamp • Daylight type (6000 K) and “bright light” type (7000– 8000 K) • Can be used with ECGs and chokes • Simple and reliable cold starting • Wattages of 150 to 1200 W 4ArXS HSD® from OSRAM puts its rivals in the shade not only in respect of thermal resilience: the new patented filling system dramatically reduces devitrification and thus enables an extra long service life of 3,000 hours to 6,000 hours (believe it or not!) for the UL versions. 4ArXS HSD® are available in wattages of 150 to 1200 W.
