Drill Pipe Mechanical Performance Notes:
(1) Tensile strength based on minimum yield strength.
(2) Torsional strength based on shear strength equal to 57.7% of minimum yield strength.
(3) Collapse pressure calculated per ISO/DIS 20312.
(4) Internal yield pressure calculated per API Bullentin 5C3 which includes a 12.5% knockdown for new pipe.
(5) Performance calculated with frictional factor and safety factor of 1.0.
(6) All data based on nominal dimensions and calculated per standard methods unless otherwise noted.
(7) Pipe properties base on pipe dimensions (non-upset area).
(8) These data are intended for a preliminary evaluation of this configuration.
