For effective thermal management, the distance between two LED modules has to be at least 100 mm at a Ta (ambient temperature) of 25°C It must be ensured, that a Tc temperature of 75°C is not exceeded. Insert the open ends of the mounting clip into one side of the mounting profile, with the nose in the middle of the mounting clip pointing upwards. Make sure the mounting clip is centered above the lateral holes in the LED module. Push the nose of the mounting clip down until it snaps into the opposite side of the profile. Make sure that the V-shaped angles of the mounting clip are engaged in the modules' holes. In order to avoid shadowing effects, the cables between the LED modules can be folded on top of each other. The ribbon cables may be bended (folded) only once per position. the mounting clip is no substitute for a strain relief for the ribbon cables between the LED modules of for the feed cable of the first LED module. The maximum temperature ranges have to be maintained. Screw the mounting brackets (LD-MB) onto the desired surface. The mounting brackets have to be in line to each other. Please use chipboard screws with countersunk head and a maximum diameter of 4mm for the fixation of the mounting brackets. Place the mounting profile on the mounting brackets. Minimum distance between two mounting brackets is 500 mm. At least two mounting brackets have to be applied for profiles shorter than 500 mm. Push the mounting profile onto the mounting brackets until it snaps in. Make sure that no pressure is applied on the LED modules. Make sure that there is enough air space present around the profile to ensure an effective thermal management. Minimum distance between two profiles which are mounted in parallel is 50mm. With and without a mounting profile, it must be ensured, that a Tc temperature of 75°C is not exceeded.
