OCTAL D-TYPE FLIP-FLOPS
WITH CLOCK ENABLE

DESCRIPTION
The device is positive-edge-triggered octal D-type flip-flops
with an enable input.
Information at the data (D) inputs meeting the setup time
requirements is transferred to the Q outputs on the positive-going
edge of the clock (CLK) pulse, if EN is low. Clock triggering
occurs at a particular voltage level and is not directly related to
the transition time of the positive-going pulse. When CLK is at
either the high or low level, the D input has no effect at the output.
These devices are designed to prevent false clocking by
transitions at EN .


B. Phase relationships between waveforms were chosen arbitrarily. All input pulse are supplied by generators
having the following characteristics: PRR≤1MHz, ZO=50Ω.
C. For clock inputs, fMAX is measured when the input duty cycle is 50%.
D. The outputs are measured one at a time with one input transition per measurement.
E. tPLH and tPHL are the same as tPD.
