Engineered to optimize energy quality and consumption for welding, SMPS and embedded drive applications rated from 1 to 6 kW, these power factor correction modules draw maximum power from the grid. The new flowPFC 0 CD modules feature highly efficient rectifiers with a shunt resistor current sensor and ultra-fast, two-legged PFCs with diodes for zero loss current sensing via external transformers. Equipped with the latest 650 V IGBT chip technologies, these modules can serve to attain switching frequencies up to 75 kHz. flowPFC 0 CD modules ship with integrated thermistors for temperature monitoring and snubbing capacitors to improve EMC. The new flowPFC 0 CD line comes in compact, low-inductive flow 0 housings 12 or 17 mm in height.
