It is recommended but not obligatory to apply a thin layer of thermal conductive paste to the back side of COINlight-OSTAR®. Take care to omit the mounting holes when using the paste. Align the flat surface of the heat sink to the back side of the module by centering the mounting holes above the M3 threads. ¾ Use two enclosed M3 screws (DIN 84, ISO1207) and fix the heat sink to the module by applying a torque of approximately 1 Nm. ¾ Please do not use the heat sink for outdoor applications.
