Power Modules flowCON 2: New rectifier module with a brake chopper featuring the latest chip technology flowCON 2 Vincotech is extending its flowCON 2 based, 3-phase half controlled rectifier modules with an integrated brake chopper featuring the latest generation of chip. The new flowCON 2 (V23990-P690-G12-PM) is equipped with 1600 V, 170 A rectifier diodes. The brake chopper, in turn, comes with an 1200 V, 100 A IGBT and antiparallel protection diode. In combination with the flowPACK 2 module, it can operate drive applications up to 50 kW. Schematics These modules’ power flow has been designed to optimize PCB layouts. Featuring Press-fit technology for easy and flexible mounting onto the PCB, the module also provides high current capability.
