The 209 tool has been obsoleted and superceded by adapter 125770. This adapter is
designed for use with the 208-625 tool and 1500 series noses. Greater availability of the
208-625 tool makes the adapter/tool combination a more practical solution to those
applications having clearance requirements that would necessitate use of the 209 tool.

ATTACHING ADAPTER 125770 TO THE 208-625 TOOL (Refer to Figure 2)
Thread drawbar stop 122879 into the rear of the tool piston and tighten using a 5/16" Allan
wrench.
Remove screw 501205 and 119423 stop from face of tool (if they are attached).
Thread anvil holder 125767 onto tool until it bottoms on face of tool. Back off ½ to 1 full
pitch (revolution) max. It should be oriented in the vertical position and free to rotate 45
degrees either side of the vertical axis (see fig. 1)
Drop collet holder 125768 into anvil holder and insert draw-bar 125769 through front of anvil
holder.
Using a 5/16" Allan wrench thread drawbar 125769 down and tighten (it will bottom out
against stop 122897).
Replace stop 119423 and screw 501205 on face of tool. The adapter should be free to
rotate through an included angle of 90 degrees (see fig. 1).
Attach nose assemblies per nose assembly data sheet.
