Overview
This document describes the differences between the design steps BC and BD of the TLE983x.

Lowside switch turn on sequence simplified
The recommended turn on sequence for the lowside switches is not necessary any more, the bits LSx_EN and
LSx_ON can be switched on simultaneously. But still, the implemented workaround may be used, there is no need
to remove it.

Implementation of additional firmware routines
Additional firmware routines were implemented to improve Infineon internal tests regarding yield and test time
improvement.

EMC improvement regarding LIN
The DPI performance has been improved. The (redundant) automatic overcurrent shutdown has been disabled,
the protection is ensured by the implemented overcurrent limitation.

TLE9835QX: pn-driver capability added
Only relevant for the TLE9835QX device.
Additional driver capability for PN-MOSFET control has been added, as described in the respective data sheet,
chapter 4.1

TLE9835QX: Timer 3 functions optimized
Only relevant for the TLE9835QX device.
For current measurements with the Operational Amplifier, Timer 3 functions were optimized.
