Note:
1. Output filtering capacitor C1 is a ceramic capacitor, it is used to filter high frequency noise. C2 is an electrolytic capacitor. It is
recommended to use high frequency and low impedance electrolytic capacitor. For capacitance and current please refer to
datasheet of capacitor manufacturer. Voltage derating of capacitor should be 80 % or above. TVS D1 is a recommended component
to protect post-circuits, if converter fails.
2. The serial resistors Rs protect the device under surge.
3. Recommended fuse parameter for F1 are 3.15A / 250 V slow blow. An external input NTC limited the inrush current.
Recommended NTC is the type 5D-9, see figure 1.
4. For EMC performance “EN55011 Class A”, refer to figure 1.
For EMC performance “EN55011 Class B”, refer to figure 2.
Cx: X capacitor, recommended values 0.1 μF / 275 VAC;
Cy: Y capacitor, recommended values 1 nF / 400 VAC;
L1: Common mode choke, recommended inductance is about 10 mH – 30 mH.
