CHIP DIODES Bourns Introduces the Model CDNBS08-T58CC TVS Diode Array for Protecting Power over Ethernet (PoE) Ports Riverside, California - June 2, 2015 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of a new ESD protection product, the Model CDNBS08-T58CC, for protecting the power section in Power over Ethernet (PoE) port applications. The Bourns® Model CDNBS08-T58CC TVS Diode Array comes in SO-8 packaging and combines four unidirectional 58 V TVS diodes in a Common Cathode configuration. The low clamping voltage is suitable for protecting the power section of IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at compliant PoE applications. The Model CDNBS08-T58CC is designed to provide ± 30 kV Contact Discharge ESD Protection per IEC 61000-4-2 and 24 A (8/20 µs) Surge Protection per IEC 61000-4-5.
