A summary of the changes in current rating and DCR are noted on Page 2 of this announcement. Effective immediately, values from 270 µH through 470 µH have been discontinued for Model 79F. Very low order quantities for these values necessitate the elimination of these values. “Tape-and-reel” packaging, denoted by a “TR” in the part number, for Model 79F will consist of 2000 pieces per ammo-pak box. The MOQ for Model 79F in “TR” packaging will be reduced from 5000 to 4000. The color of Model 78F has been changed to burgundy from the former green coating to facilitate recognition of the improved models with greater current rating. The color of Model 79F has been changed to blue in order to identify it easily when compared to Model 78F. No changes in the electrical specifications for Model 79F have been made, other than discontinuing values from 270 µH through 470 µH. All future orders for Models 78F and 79F will include the revisions noted herein. Updated data sheets are available on the Bourns website.
