PanView iQ™ (PViQ™) Fiber Trays

There shall be four versions of the fiber tray: field terminated, MTP^
singlemode, OM3 MTP^ multimode, and OM4 MTP^ multimode to manage
patching capabilities for fiber channels. The fiber trays supporting MTP^
connections shall contain 24 LC (Sr./Sr.) fiber optic adapter modules with
zirconia ceramic split sleeves. The drawer shall be installed with four
12-fiber MTP^ fiber optic adapters. The MTP^ connectors shall be factory
pre-terminated and tested. The fiber tray shall support up to 24-ports. The
drawer shall have sufficient room to accommodate fusion splice holders for
48 fiber cables, and slack management spools.
All versions shall be installable in a 19" standard TIA/EIA rack or cabinet
utilizing 1 RU of space.

When the drawer tray is pulled out of enclosure for service or installation, it
safely hinges on the enclosure with a capability to be removed completely
for ease of new fiber installation and splicing
applications
Panduit ® PViQ™ System Hardware, which includes
intelligent patch panels, modules, and cabling,
seamlessly feeds information directly into the
Physical Infrastructure Manager™ (PIM™ ) Software
Platform to provide continuous real-time patch field
monitoring, and visibility of physical infrastructure
connectivity for enhanced system reliability and
security and capacity management. Eliminating the
need for additional rack space, the PViQ™ Fiber
Trays allow for direct installation of PViQ™
Intelligence Modules within the same rack unit
profile. This approach gives IT Managers the option

to phase installations (installing passive connectivity
now and upgrading to a fully managed system at
a later time) and to quickly swap out modules for
upgrades or repairs without disrupting cabling or
data traffic through the panels. An interface unit
at the center of the panel adds further built-in
functionality such as patch cord tracing and
maintenance operations, without the need
for additional control equipment.
PViQ™ Fiber Trays are available in field terminated,
MTP^ singlemode, OM3 MTP^ multimode, and
OM4 MTP^ multimode to manage patching
capabilities for fiber channels.
