It has a distributed match with a frequency range of 5.15GHz to 5.85GHz. The active device is a Filtronic FPD750SOT89; a double-heterojunction, 750μm gate periphery PHEMT. The connectors are SMA jacks soldered to a 20mil thick Rogers™ RO4003 PC Board. Both RF ports are DC-decoupled. Biasing can be applied through test clips (E-Z hooks) at the bias vias on the bottom of the board. A negative gate voltage is required for current limiting. Ground connection should be established prior to the gate and drain bias connections. This board is thin and flexible, so caution should be exercised when connecting it to coaxial cables. Typical applications include 802.11a WLAN. The dielectric constant is 3.38. Recommended bias applied to the circuit is 5V, 100mA with a negative gate voltage for current limiting.
