A voltage-controlled oscillator provides excellent spectral purity at a center frequency of 3850 MHz.
Designed for operation at
3850 MHz, model
CVCO55CC-3850-3850 is a
voltage-controlled
oscillator (VCO) that
typically draws 35 mA
current from a +8-VDC
supply. It is supplied in an
industry-standard surfacemount SMD package
measuring 0.5 × 0.5 in. and
delivers +7 dBm typical output power at 3850 MHz. Typical tuning sensitivity is 7 MHz/V
for a tuning range of 0.5 to 4.5 V. The typical phase noise is -110 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz
from the carrier and -132 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier, while second
harmonics are typically -15 dBc. Pushing is typically 0.2 MHz/V, while pulling is typically
1 MHz peak to peak. The oscillator is designed for operating temperatures from -40 to
+85°C.
