Installation
To install, insert the kit DVD into your PC's DVD-ROM drive. If the installer does not start
automatically, start it manually by executing cyautorun.exe in the DVD's root directory. Follow the
installation instructions on screen.
Note Go to http://www.cypress.com/go/psocprogrammer for the latest version of PSoC
Programmer. If you have a previous installation of PSoC Designer and PSoC Programmer, you
must uninstall the same before reinstalling. To uninstall the software, go to Start > Control Panel
> Add or Remove Programs and click on the Remove button adjacent to the particular
software. Follow the instructions to uninstall.

Limitations and Known Bugs

In the code examples, CapSense sensors are tuned for 1.5 mm overlay; as a result, they
can be overly sensitive when used without an overlay.

Debugging of PSoC Designer “Chip-Level Design” for the CY3280-20x34 UCC is not
supported in Revision ** of the CY3280-20x34 CapSense Universal Controller kit.
