Distribution Spotlight Innovations Embedded High Brightness Single Rank 1608-Size Chip LEDs SML-D15 Series ROHM’s SML-D15 single-rank, high-brightness chip LEDs are optimized for applications where multiple LED’s are configured side-by-side and consistent brightness is desired. To minimize LED brightness variations among conventional LEDs, engineers typically must sort and use different resistor values to match each rank. In contrast, the SML-D15 series minimizes brightness variations to within a single rank, reducing design load and inventory management. In addition, brightness is increased over conventional LEDs, and AEC-Q101 qualified models are available for use in high reliability applications such as automotive and industrial systems.
