HMC14 www.honeywellvideo.com 14-INCH COLOR CRT MONITOR The Honeywell HMC14 is a high quality 14-inch color monitor. The monitor features a sturdy housing, and delivers sharp color images with 400 TV lines of resolution. Unlike conventional monitors, the HMC14 features convenient recessed front panel controls that make setup and adjustment quick and easy, while restricting movement caused by accidental contact. Installers can easily switch between NTSC and PAL video formats to comply with worldwide standards. An illuminated green LED beside the power button confirms that power is being supplied to the monitor. The monitor also features a latching power switch which remains in its set position – either On or Off – eliminating the need to turn the monitor back on in the event of a power loss. The HMC14 has both composite BNC connectors and Y/C mini DIN connectors for S-video. Since the BNC connectors are auto terminating, there is no need for users to set termination switches when using the BNC connectors for loopthrough video. Additionally, the HMC14 has audio input and output connectors, allowing users to listen-in as well as view the monitored area. This is especially convenient for secured entry areas. Market Opportunities The HMC14 is ideal for an optimal viewing distance of six feet or less and is designed for commercial security or surveillance applications. The monitor is ideal for single camera viewing, or multiple camera displays when using a quad or multiplexer. The HMC14 can be either rack mounted using an optional rack mount kit (HMC14RK1) or placed on a desktop.
