Silicon Laboratories is announcing a last time buy for the following products:
●Si4830-A10-GU(R), Mechanical tuning AM/FM Radio Receiver
●Si4830-A20-GU(R), Mechanical tuning AM/FM Radio Receiver
●Si4834-A20-GU(R), Mechanical tuning AM/FM/SW Radio Receiver
LTB (Last Time Buy) for these products must be placed by 8 December 2011. All LTB orders placed
after the PCN Effective Date for these products will be non-cancellable and non-returnable.
Shipment of orders from Silicon Labs must be completed by 2 June 2012.
Silicon Laboratories recommends Si4831-B30-GU(R) and Si4835-B30-GU(R) as replacement parts.
The Si4831-B30-GU(R) and Si4835-B30-GU(R) are easier to design, need less BOM and have better
performance. They are not pin to pin compatible with the Si483x revision A products. Si4831-B30GU(R) and Si4835-B30-GU(R) data sheets and application notes contain required design changes
and information, and are available from wwww.silabs.com and / or Silicon Labs Sales representatives.
Si4831-B30-GU(R) and Si4835-B30-GU(R) qualification data is included below.
