361 Series SMP Product Description Sub-Miniature RF Connectors The 361 Series SMP connectors feature a blind-mate, snap-in, vibration-resistant connection, constructed for high shock mobile and military applications. The frequency range is 40 GHz with low VSWR. The push-on design allows the installer to mate connectors without the need for any tooling. The extremely compact size allows for high density applications and, combined with the withdrawal features of the full detent design, the SMP series has become a standard for quick and effective interconnects using semi-rigid cable to printed circuit boards. The Winchester SMP connector is designed to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-348, figure 326 interface standard and DESC specifications 94007 & 94008. They are fully intermateable with all manufacturers who comply with these industry standards. • Straight cable plugs feature a solder / solder termination method. The center contact is precision machined Beryllium Copper and the contact gender is female. • Right-angle PCB Jacks have 4 through-hole mounting legs with either a left or right exit SMT center contact. PCB Jacks are available in smooth bore and full detent versions. The gender of the center contact is a male pin. • Winchester offers higher performing swept right-angle connector designs for your critical applications.
