117 Series Product Description High Frequency Size-8 Blind Mate Contacts New 117 Series Size-8 RF contacts are designed for high-frequency applications up to 32 GHz. 117 Series contacts are designed to be used with our RDM Combination D-Sub connectors, and this new series is a perfect solution for high density, high performance RF applications in military, test and measurement, and telecommunication industries. 117 Series Cable Plugs and Receptacles are available for RG-402 Semi-Rigid cable and RG-142 and RG-316 flexible cables. • Flexible cable receptacle contacts feature a precision machined ø.040 male center contact with a retention barb, which snaps into the insulator to prevent the pin contact from backing out of the plug assembly. • Semi-rigid contacts are quick and easy to terminate. Termination for the center contacts is “Point & Shoot” and the cable jacket is direct solder. • Cable plug contacts feature a beveled front end to provide improved alignment to mating receptacle contacts.
