Description of Changes
Macronix introduces the MX25L2026E as a replacement of the MX25L2025 / MX25L2025C.
All customers are requested to start the migration for their existing design to the MX25L2026E
as soon as possible.
MX25L2026E supports new features, SFDP mode and Dual Output mode (Single Input / Dual
Output).
For detail of these changes, please refer to Application Notes of MX25L2026E.
Impact of Changes and Recommended Actions
Besides original function of MX25L2025 / MX25L2025C, the MX25L2026E provides new
features that make no impact on customer's original design.
Applications using the MX25L2025 / MX25L2025C need to migrate to the MX25L2026E, and
new designs should only use the MX25L2026E. Migration to MX25L2026E will enable
Macronix to provide continuous support to our customers.
