They are characterized by optimum ease of mounting: Whether actuator, indicator, support or switching and light elements – all components can be safely, rapidly and ruggedly mounted by a single person with only a few flicks of the wrist. Page 6 Cable-operated switches Perfectly matched to your requirements: Our SIRIUS cable-operated switches 3SE7 can be employed for the monitoring of hazardous areas or as EMERGENCY-STOP device. Yet, they have more to offer: The complete devices in metal enclosure are for example available with two-side operation for long distances of up to 2 x 75 m or as belt misalignment devices for belt conveyor monitoring. Connection is possible via standard AS-Interface with safetyoriented communication. Optionally, also LED technology or cable-operated switches with an integrated EMERGENCY-STOP pushbutton can be used. Page 18 Signaling columns and integrated signal lamps SIRIUS signaling columns and integrated signal lamps 8WD are the ideal solution when it comes to the safe control of complex and fast processes. The modular devices are flexibly applicable and accommodate visual and acoustic warning elements such as continuous light, flashlight, LED or summer. Thanks to their robust design and high degree of protection, the devices are resistant to shock and vibration and are fully communication-capable via AS-Interface. Connection to AS-Interface is realized via an adapter module which allows for the plug-on connection of up to three light elements. Diagnostics are indicated via an LED status display. For visual signaling, SIRIUS integrated signal lamps 8WD53 can be directly mounted anywhere on the machine. Fastening is realized via a PG 29 screw base with nut. The special shape of the SIRIUS integrated signal lamps facilitates optimum radiation towards all directions (laterally and upward). SIRIUS integrated signal lamps consistently feature the high degree of protection IP65 and are made of very shock-resistant material. Red, green, yellow, transparent and blue are available for continuous lighting (incandescent lamp version and flashlight). The LED versions of the integrated signal lamps offer a considerably longer service life than incandescent lamps. Besides continuous lighting, this version also features a flashing and a rotating light.
